MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 23, March 16, 1966 ] DECREEING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ECONOMIC STAFF IN CERTAIN COMMITTEES. Under Executive Order No. 8 dated February 1, 1966, the Program Implementation Agency under the Office of the President was dissolved and, in lieu thereof, the Presidential Economic Staff was created. In view thereof, in all cases where the former Program Implementation Agency or any of its officials had been designated a representative in or member of any committees, bodies, or instrumentalities, the Presidential Economic Staff or its corresponding official, is hereby considered as having succeeded to such representation or membership effective as of the date of its creation, with all the powers and prerogatives exercised, or enjoyed by the defunct Program Implementation Agency.1aшphi1 By authority of the President: (Sgd.)
