EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 446 January 6, 1975

EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION ON REORGANIZATION CREATED UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 281, SERIES OF 1970

WHEREAS, additional major changes in the Integrated Reorganization Plan have been adopted;

WHEREAS, further amendments to the Integrated Reorganization Plan will be necessary in order to keep the government structure attuned to the needs of accelerated national development;

WHEREAS, there is therefore need to maintain continued staff work in the assessment and implementation of such organizational changes; and

WHEREAS, the installation of the Integrated Reorganization Plan, as finally amended, remains to be completed, especially in certain major areas of government administration, which requires continued staff support in overseeing the work involved therein.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby extend the term of the Presidential Commission on Reorganization up to June 30, 1975.

The Executive Secretary shall issue the necessary directives for the detail or the extension of the detail of such technical personnel as may be needed by the Commission, under the same conditions as prescribed in Executive Order No. 281, as amended.

The Commission is authorized to disburse and defray al expenses for its operation from January 1, 1975 to June 30, 1975, from funds as may be available from the office of the President.
